Today I received the funding from my first day of donations. Donations currently sit at 14% (for some reason GoFund.Me says 15%, not sure why). A couple of people have said they will be donating shortly to my fundraiser.
One of my long term freelance projects have been put on hold for the time being as the person may have found someone who can do more for less and quicker. I don’t hold any grudge, taught myself a lot over this project and he was always willing to help me out with cash when I needed it.
However this does make the fundraising even more important than before. However I will also be earnestly looking into my freelancing again, as it had been on hold for the past few months.
